This report summarizes an analysis of more than 24,000 energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) records covering 22 million square feet of metro Boston hospitals, in an update to our 2011-2013 first-in-the-nation, metro sector-wide database. Developed for the Boston Green Ribbon Commission's Health Care Working Group (GRC-HC) by its coordinator, Health Care Without Harm, the data tracks the sector's collective progress towards the GRC's shared goals of a 25 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2020, and 100 percent by 2050.
