One of our own named a Climate Hero

We are proud to offer Bill Ravanesi our sincerest congratulations for earning this prestigious award from Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2).

Bill was recognized for co-leading the Health Care Without Harm team that helped Metro Boston hospitals cut their energy greenhouse gas emissions by 29 percent between 2011 and 2015 and put them on track to reduce emissions 33 percent by 2020.

Bill has worked with Health Care Without Harm since its founding 20 years ago and has received numerous awards, including the CleanMed Environmental Health Hero Award and the EPA’s Environmental Merit Award for outstanding efforts in preserving New England’s environment. He currently serves as our senior director of health care green buildings and energy. A recent interview with Bill highlights some of his trailblazing efforts in the Boston area.
Please join us in congratulating Bill, and if you’d like to be a climate hero too, check out the different ways you can get involved with our organization.
