Food Day 2015

On October 24th, HCWH will unite hundreds of health care facilities across the country to celebrate Food Day, by serving at least one meat or poultry item produced without routine use of non-therapeutic antibiotics.  

Registration opens Monday, July 20th. In the meantime, check out our new resource Understanding Labels: Meat and Poultry, which offers robust and verifiable certifications and label claims for meat and poultry raised without routine, non-therapeutic antibiotics.

Get Smart About Antibiotics Week

November 16-22 is the annual CDC-sponsored Get Smart About Antibiotics Week; a great opportunity for clinicians to demonstrate their commitment to antibiotic stewardship outside of the halls of the hospital!  HCWH will be leading an action opportunity to leverage the strong voice of New England clinicians and raise awareness about the link between food production and antibiotic stewardship.
