Health Care Without Harm and Practice Greenhealth are proud to present the award for their inaugural culinary contest to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for their red dahl recipe. Hospitals across the country submitted their favorite delicious and healthy recipes to the Health Care Culinary Contest. Entrants embodied the “less meat, better meat” philosophy, highlighted local and sustainable sourcing opportunities, and engaged a clinician sponsor exemplifying how hospital food can be healthy for people and the planet.
